FRACAS settings
=================

The main settings of FRACAS (for reliability assessment and for exporting) can be modified by accessing ``FRACAS > Settings > General Settings``. A new setting can be also added by specifying the following fields:

- Name
- Description
- Value
- Location where it is used ("computations" if it is to be used for a reliability assessment)

Specifically for the Defect tables, the user can customize all the fields in the following aspects:

- **Column Name**: Name of the column to customize
- **Is a multi-select field?**: The field will appear as a dropdown in the different forms
- **Is displayed?**: True if the column is displayed in the table. False otherwise
- **Is searchable?**: True if it the field appears in the search of the defects. False otherwise

.. note::
    A multi-select field which has more than 50 different unique values is converted automatically from a dropdown to an autocomplete field.
